Insurance in Dubai — peace of mind, not a formality

Health insurance is a legal condition for a UAE residence visa, but a tick in the paperwork and real protection for your family are two different things. We match cover to your family, help with life and property insurance, and run it all through one person.

Mandatory health insurance

You cannot obtain or renew a UAE residence visa without valid health insurance. Since 1 January 2025 this requirement extends to all emirates, not only Dubai and Abu Dhabi. A Basic plan costs from roughly AED 320 per year, and for employees the premiums are paid by the employer.

In Dubai the minimum cover under DHA (Dubai Health Authority) rules is AED 150,000. This is the lower boundary that secures basic access to care — enough to satisfy the law, but not always enough to treat a family with peace of mind.

Real cover for a family, not a box to tick

A Basic plan satisfies the law, but beyond that boundary lies what actually matters to a family: which network of clinics and doctors you can use, how maternity and childbirth are covered, what happens with chronic conditions, and whether you are protected outside the UAE while travelling.

We look at cover through your family’s eyes, not the insurer’s. The difference between being "technically insured" and "treated calmly by the right doctor with no arguments over bills" is exactly the protection worth choosing a plan carefully for.

  • The network of clinics and doctors available to you
  • Maternity, childbirth and paediatric care
  • Chronic conditions and ongoing treatment
  • Cover outside the UAE while travelling

Life and property insurance — and how we accompany you

Life and property insurance is optional under UAE law but especially relevant to high-net-worth families: it protects loved ones and assets, and is often required for a mortgage or property ownership. The decisions here are finer — structure, beneficiaries and alignment with the family’s wider plan all matter.

We give independent advice rather than sell a single product: we shortlist vetted providers, compare terms on substance rather than marketing, and leave you with one contact for everything — from policy to claim. Peace of mind comes from having one person who carries it all for you.

  • Independent selection among vetted providers
  • Terms compared on substance, not marketing
  • One contact — from issuing the policy to the payout
